Swarovski sparkles with Lola & Grace

Simple silver jewellery is right up my street. Items that are dainty and timeless that you know will look nice no matter what you pair them with. That said, this set fits my requirements perfectly. The pink pearlescent really stood out to me as something that's quite unusual and unique that I'd never seen before.

Both the ring and the necklace are silver toned plated, adorned with Swarovski crystals. There's no word other than 'stunning' that I could use to describe this set. I'm seriously in love. I wear a lot of rings and some of my plain bands from Pandora look really nice stacked with the cocktail ring, whereas I like the necklace just on its own. Both can be worn for any occasion and used to dress an outfit up or to just add a touch of sparkle to casual attire.

You can probably already tell that this post includes a very persistent theme throughout, simplicity. That's me personified, and I live by this with my clothing choices, make up and jewellery.

I really recommend Lola & Grace if you are in need of nice looking jewellery that's timeless and affordable. Great customer service, fast shipping and a lovely website where your spoiled for choice.

Have you ever bought anything from Lola & Grace?

Let me know if you check out the website and what you like!

Restyling my gadgets with CaseApp

Keeping up to date with makeup trends and fashion trends is one thing, but keeping your gadgets looking good is another to add to your list of things to think about. I feel that at times I forget about the exterior of my laptop and phone, even though I use them everyday! Seems crazy really, but when I think about it, I'm only ever really interested in what's on the screen and not the outside and can plod along with the same case for months on end. With this in mind it was the perfect time for CaseApp to get in touch with me, as both my phone and laptop needed a little TLC and bringing into one of the biggest 2016 trend....marble.

It was so incredibly easy to create my own design and really liked the idea of having matching phone and laptop case. Having tried to stay away from overdoing the marble trend, I dived right in with this little project and am so happy I did. These two skins came out perfect and love the gold and blush pink together with the marble.

Phone case - is of a pretty good quality and has quite a bit of plastic that comes above the actual phone screen which is brilliant if you drop it face down, as the case will be the first to make an impact with the floor, and not your phone. I went for the matte finish and love it! I'll update you if I regret it due to any marks that might appear and because of the matte effect and can't get them off. We'll see.

Laptop skin- for some reason I didn't realise until it was delivered that it would be a sticker for the outer of the laptop and not a hard case. Even though it is just a sticker, it's  thick and will definitely keep away scratches and any marks being made to the actual electronic product. It was easy to apply to the laptop, however, did take me a while due to my OCD and things being level and air bubbles etc *snore.

The delivery from CaseApp was pretty fast and had no problems with the process or products at all.

Have you thought about designing your own phone case or laptop skin before? What do you think of mine?

Springing into new skincare

Mixing up skincare is something I really enjoy and am always on the hunt for new products to try out, and lately I've found some right finds. I've been trialing these products for a while and feel like every one of these needs to be spoken about to you all, you seriously need to try these.

I was kindly given the Super Facialist by Una Brennan and I'd heard so much about this oil, I was so happy to finally have it and see what the fuss was about. Now, this oil boasts anti-aging qualities with a high performance pro-collagen for a youthful and healthy glow to the face. It contains Rosemary oil, vitamin E and cucumber oil. I use this as a second cleanse mid week, and then again on a Sunday evening. Initially I started using it every other day which my skin wasn't actually a fan of, so started limiting myself to just two a week. It definitely gets my skin glowing and gives a plump feeling. Over using this product just isn't good for my skin, but when I do use it sparingly I really enjoy it and honestly smells amazing.

Whilst having a rummage in a little grocery shop in China Town London, I came across these sheet face masks by Etude House and that little voice inside instantly said "You have to buy these". So I did. I bought two of each type focusing on things like moisture, firming and Hyaluronic acid which I'm all for. I love a good sheet mask anyway but really liked using these a lot and even more than others I've tried before. With these you don't have a ridiculous amount of waste product (no dripping liquid from the sheets). I find it really hard to describe the difference in my skin from using a mask as it's something you use every now and again, but the ones I've used so far I've really enjoyed.

I've used the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm before and loved it and seemed to continue with life without it fine. They do say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and with regards
to this particular product, its certainly true. I'd forgotten how great it makes me feel about my skin. Especially on those days when I've had a late night and don't just feel fatigued, I looked fatigued. This helps to give you that glow again (sense a glow addiction) and just spritely I guess.

Lastly, this dinky miniature of Benefits Total Moisture is not only the cutest miniature ever, but the moisture punch of this little guy is phenomenal. I'd never thought about Benefits skincare, and in a way, I'd always judged it before ever trying it. This came in a big set full of miniatures and have used it for about a month now. I get extremely dry skin around my nose and also on my cheeks, and when I use this it seems to get a lot better. I prefer to use it over night more so than a morning cream, as I find it too rich to be a base for my face makeup. Has a lovely scent, consistency and does a great job.

Got any new skincare products your raving about? I'd love for you to share them.
