Morning skincare routine


A post I've never decided to venture into for some reasons however now is the time to share my most favourite part of beauty....skincare! So before I get stuck in a little low down on my skin: It's combination, oily and dry. I have sections that get very dry and flaky but at the same time I have oily sections such as my chin and my forehead. I don't suffer with many breakouts however they like to pop up now and again.

Step 1- 'Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water' I use to just freshen my skin after the nights sleep. To get off any sweat or bacteria from the pillow and all of that lovely stuff, so my first cleanse. It's just nice, refreshing and makes you instantly feel clean.

Step 2- 'Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish' is a product I think I will always use in my routine. It's a great gentle cleanser that works well with my skin, keeps it calm with minimal to no breakouts and does an awesome job at getting rid of make up. This is the cleanser that is actually cleansing my skin and I work it into dry skin and buffer in with a warm cloth and splash with cold water to finish.

Step 3- 'REN Clarifying Toner' previous post HERE. Such a nice toner that works brilliantly with breakouts or just a couple of those under the skin spots. I use it as an all over toner but if I for some reason have a breakout randomly I use it with a cotton bud as an on the spot treatment. It's very gentle and does a good job, as much as you expect from a toner.

Step 4- 'Super Facialist Glow Boost skin serum' Ever since I've used this product my skin has felt tighter, plump and just all around nicer. As soon as I've applied this my skin feels so smooth and seems to drink up this serum instantly and loves it. If I for some reason forget to use this I can tell the difference in my skin. Need to stock up on this soon!!

Step 5- 'Yes to Cucumbers Eye Gel' If you need something to help wake you up, well this is the product for you. Even better if you put it in the fridge but I just don't have the time. I put a pea sized amount on my ring fingers and rub them together before patting the product under my eyes and on my brows. I tend to have half open sleepy eyes in the morning, but this just instantly wakes them up and is so nice a soothing on your skin.

Step 6- 'Yes to Cucumbers Sensitive Moisturiser' This was purchased purely as part of a 3 for 2 deal but am pleasantly surprised. It seems to take a little while to soak into the skin however is a nice, gentle moisturiser that does what it says on the tin. My skin feels smooth and ready for any product put on top of it. Any foundations I choose to apply after my skincare seems to go on so easily and doesn't clump into the sides of my nose where my dry patches are. 

Step 7- 'Liz Earl Eye Bright' I don't use this every morning, however on the days when I am really having to drag myself out of bed, I like to use this on a cotton pad and hold them on my eyes for a good ten seconds and tahdah! My eyes feel less puffy, more awake and the best of all you can use it on contact lenses which makes my life easier. As this is the last step it gives my moisturiser time to fully sink into my face and then I'm off out the door.
