Products I've loved in January

Maybe its the weather, but for some reason my top products of this month are mostly skincare. The winter that makes me really think about my skin and am always on a mission to hydrate it and have a glowing complexion.

I don't need to go into too much detail as a recent post uploaded was all about my new love for exfoliating toners. This one in particular is my favourite. My skin has never looked as good as what it does now and I believe its all down to this product. Might sound pricey to some but it really is so worth it. Read my other post HERE

This is a great lipstick for a quick pick up or on route from work to dinner or a night out. It's quite sheer but gives your lips a nice bitten look. Would be a perfect lippy for people scared to wear bright reds as you can see this on the lips quite obviously but in a subtle way. Lovely and smooth on applying however hasn't got much staying power. But that doesn't stop me loving it.

Oh my gosh this is just to die for. Through out January I've been using this mask once or twice a week and really enjoy using it. Gives my skin a nice mid week and end of the weekend boost that it needs sometimes. This will for sure be a re-purchase and fear of this running out quickly. Comment below with your fav mask as I need to try more!

Now this is a product I have used for years now and since end of December have really been getting back into it. Just a quick smooth swipe of this on a cotton pad across both eyes sends an instant zing and wakes you up. The heavy eye feeling *which I experience often disappear straight away and allows you to start the day bright and chirpy.

Why did I stop using this? I haven't used this properly for so so long and have been using it solidly for around 5 weeks. Every type of eye look you want to create is in this palette, complete with matte and shimmer shades its the perfect palette. I haven't tried any of the other Naked palettes, but I'm not sure I need to. Number one is enough for me.

My gym started supplying this magazine end of last year and get so excited when I spot it after a tough yoga class and go home to read through with a lovely cup of ginger tea. A great all round girlie mag that includes beauty and fashion, food and lifestyle. In my dreams I work at stylist.......hmmm I wish.

Thanks for reading! yes to the weekend!! I have so much on my shopping list, not sure If I should be let loose in town tomorrow. Follow me on Instagram to keep up with my photo taking (@JPOPPY88)

In a rush make up choices

One of those mornings when you'd rather stay in bed than get up for work? This is me most mornings and because of extra 5/10 minutes snoozing make up time is shortened. For these situations which I have to admit occur more more at the moment I need a quick routine that won't fail me.

Base:
Recently I've been skipping wearing foundation or tinted moisturiser and have just gone for concealer on areas of redness and then lightly powdering all over the face to lock the concealer in. Super quick and effective. I only use this concealer on my face and not my eyes as I find it creases on me. I have so much love for this powder and in desperate need of a new one.

Brows:
As you already know I'm a huge brow lover and as much as I love my Soap and Glory Archery I like to use my old trusty friend, the angled brush and powder. This way I can apply it quickly and roughly and looks quite natural and neat. I use the powder as from day to day I just want to fill them in so they are noticeable.

Eyes:
I can never go a day without curling my eyelashes. This is something I feel everyone should do no matter if they wear mascara or not. It's just great and helps to keep your eyelashes long and curled for longer. I got this mascara free with some products I bought as kept it to give it a go. At the moment it's not my fav but will persist and report back to you all, but does a good job of slightly thickening my lashes giving the illusion of bigger eyes.

As long as I use these products I don't feel naked. I still feel bright and ready to look kind of respectable.

Sorry this post was late, life and mostly work getting in the way. I am going to spend most of my Friday night composing a hand full of posts ready for next week so I don't let you guys down.

Thanks for reading!

Food and the West End

So a bit of a different Monday post as spontaneously myself and Tony booked last minute tickets to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the musical in London Saturday and felt like it would be nice to share my day and my thoughts. It's a musical we've wanted to see for a while now and was on our 2015 to do list. * Sighs as it feels so good to tick something off. Spending a day in London we had to naturally eat at an amazing restaurant too. Heres how my Saturday went:

Food:
I've heard Anna, Lily and Suzie go one about this place so it had to be experiences. Homeslice was the choice for dinner and I am so happy we went. A lovely intimate place with few tables and a nice set of staff, it has such a lovely welcoming feel and obviously.....great food. A 20inch pizza that can be half and half or just one topping, we were in heaven and they were great with allergy help. I had a cheeky glass of wine which comes in a huge bottle, you drink how much you want and they measure it at the end, which is so dangerous. This is an awesome restaurant, takeaway place that all pizza lovers MUST visit!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the musical:
Being a performing arts teacher I tend to watch things in a different way to others, and think technically  and can be very judgemental. I had seen a program maybe last year all about the creation of this musical and had very mixed thoughts on it. I had also read some reviews that were very mixed so went in with a completely clear mind.

From start to finish it had me so interested and was fixated that before I knew it, it was the interval. So many comedy sections which had the audience laughing out loud, children and adults and is all round a great family musical. There were some parts that left you slightly confused like the feeling when coming out of a magic show and were simply just very cleaver. They used one of the most amazing set designs I've ever seen which was so cleaver and really helped to transport you to the wonderful factory itself. The wow's and the ooooo's you heard from the audience the first time you saw the chocolate room was amazing. I had been quite good and hadn't looked up any of the songs before hand and was pleasantly surprised at how catchy and well written the songs were *which I have now downloaded by the way. I probably would go and see it again however am in no rush to go back but all in all was a great musical and very very enjoyable.

Over all an awesome Saturday!
Hope you guys had an alright Monday (as alright as it can be)

Sunday round up - 4 -

This week has been crazy for me for many reasons. Work has been nuts with observations and so on. The outcome was brilliant so put me in an amazing mood for the rest of the week, and turned out to be an awesome week and weekend. Enjoy my extra long fun week :)

1- My love for soya Starbucks drinks is forever growing, and now they do a caramel sugar free syrup..... my hot chocolates are banging.

2- New Japanese restaurant has opened in the city near where I live and it is amazing. I feel I will no longer have an urge to visit Wagamamas as this is so authentic, yummy and a good price.

3- Last minute tickets purchased for Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I was not disappointed at all. Considering I've wanted to see this for so long my excited was so high half an hour before going in. Review up tomorrow by the way!

4- Having bad skin times? Well this is my new saviour. I love the way this Aesop mask helps to smooth my skin and help eliminate spots and dryness.

5- Yoga with Adriene is great! Whether your new to it or not its lovely to take part for relaxation purposes or for fitness. I've been attending yoga and pilates classes for a few weeks now and as my boyfriend was working overtime on Saturday, he needed the car so this video was so handy.

6- My latest fashion friday post all on 'That dress'. Every girl has a dress that they always know will look good for various occasions. Go check out the post HERE!

7- Nail and Mac cosmetics inspo pic!! Next weekend I will go get my nails done for sure. Recently my nails have been horrible and short and I have just had enough.

8- Baby boy Sammy. He's such a poser and as I'm such a cat lady I have to upload a picture of him often.

9- Being dairy free is hard sometimes and this picture was really working on breaking me well and truly. Come on... this look so amazing!

10- Exfoliating toners are my new love, and my skin has never felt so good. If you haven't tried anything like this before you most certainly should. Check out my post HERE with all the details.

11- lily Pebbles Brookies are amazing, especially for dairy free people like myself. I make these gluten free also so my sister can eat them as well. They are great and so easy to make. I have linked up LPBrookie recipe HERE.

12- Amazing steak wraps with heaps of vegan cheese. Yummmmmmmmmmm. So into rocket right now too and have it with everything!

Thanks for stopping by!
Tomorrow, my Charlie and the Chocolate factory musical review :)

Fashion Friday - Staple dress

Most girls have a dress they can rely on. A dress that you know will suit many occasions, looks nice with loads of different pairs of shoes, jackets and various make up looks. Well....this is mine.

Such a simple dress but once on looks so much more. The way it fits is so flattering and being a polka dot pattern is just timeless. The three quarter length sleeves are lovely but can annoy me at times. In the winter I like to wear this with tights, boots a leather jacket and a nice big scarf, but can easily adapt the summer weather just by wearing a cardi and dolly shoes you are good to go for a trip along the seaside.

Having stumbled across this during a Topshop sale I hope this beauty will last me a while as I have got so much wear out of it I'm hoping it will survive a while more. I might have to start hand washing it as it is slowly shrinking in the wash....even on a 30 wash!! :(

Do you have a staple dress you bust out when all else fails?

Thanks so much for reading!
Yay to the weekend :)

Exfoliating toners

Not long ago, I posted about toner and how it didn't really excite me nor did it interest me. But I can happily say that I have found a love for toner....exfoliating toners.

When do I use it?
I only use these at night and alternate between the Clearasil and the Pixi glow tonic. I find if I use these twice a day my skin doesn't feel as fresh and doesn't look as fresh looking. I guess it's just me.

What are the benefits?
Exfoliating toners contain acid which is actually a better exfoliator than using something with those horrible beads and that, that I've actually found to make my skin feel sore. Using an exfoliating toner also helps with dehydration of the skin. They help your skin lock in moisture which is amazing as our skin goes through so much that drys it out.....central heating, air conditioning, sunbathing, smoking (if you do) and the list goes on.

Do I feel a difference?
Yes yes yes! My skin has never felt and looked so good and fresh. I've even had people at work comment on how my skin looks glowing and radiant (no i'm not pregnant). I have noticed that my foundation/tinted moisturiser doesn't dry out and crust on my dry areas of my face which I used to get quite nervous and conscious about. Not sure if this next point is because of these products but, the balance in colour of my skin has also seen a change for the better. I used to have a lot of pigmentation patches. Now when I don't have any make up on and have just washed my face my skin looks a lot more even and just all over nice.

So will you or do you use exfoliating toners? How do you feel about using a product with acid in?

My Space.NK wish list

Space.NK is one of my all time favourite luxury beauty stores. It is far too pricey for me to justify spending money there all the time like I do with Boots but every now and again it's so nice. Below are items that are on my current SPACE.NK wish list.

Sarah Chapman overnight facial- £46 -
You hear so many people going on about this product and it just makes me want to try it more and more. The hype is crazy with people saying its the best all in one facial product they have ever tried!! I need to get this in my life.

Diptyque tubereuse coloured scented candle- £55 -
I love a good Diptyque candle, and this one just sounds and smells so lovely. You just can't go wrong with these candles, no matter what the fragrance.

Chantecaille just skin tinted moisturiser- £58 -
Can't remember how many years I have wanted to try this for but I do know that it was way back when Tanya Burr first included it in a video. At such a crazy price for a tinted moisturiser, this is supposed to be lovely to wear throughout the year.

Oskia renaissance cleansing gel - £28 -
Being a fav by Anna over at Vivianna does makeup this is naturally on my wish list (as is everything she has). I tend to just stick with the same cleanser day in, day out and would love to try this because of how nice it apparently makes your skin feel.

Oskia get up and glow - £64.50 -
I need some help with the glow department in the winter months as my skin tends to go quite pale and flat looking with no real life to it. This sounds and looks like it does the job but as everything on my SPACE.NK wish list..........it's way too expensive for me to just go and buy.

Beautychat live tickets - £15 -
Having been a fan of Anna's for years and years now, this would be such a surreal experience if I ever actually met her. I have been a fan of Lilys for a couple of years and would love to meet her too. I really value their knowledge and opinions and would love to go to one of these dates, however being sold out in just a few days is crazy and rubbish for people like me :(

Are any of these products on your wish list???

Sunday round up -3-

Another week gone, and it's consisted of my fav things...most of it anyway.

1- The life of a teacher....One of my new years resolutions was to keep evenings and weekends work free. But that changed as soon as things started to hot up. After Monday I will be back on the resolution band wagon and will have my evenings to myself and the boy.

2- A post I have wanted to write since December. Even though I always bang on about red lipstick and orange red I am such a sucker for pink. Typically girly of me but pink just attracts me. One of my first MAC lipsticks was a pink and ever since my love for them is still strong, but comes in waves of when I reach for them.

3- A day trip out with the other half. A yummy smoothie from M&S and some dividers for my project life, I was a happy bunny. I am desperate to make my project life a piece of art so will be stocking up on supplies and booking fun things to do.

4- Real Techniques brushes are the one!!! You can't go wrong, and because I love them so much, I created a whole post on them. There isn't a RT brush I don't like and that isn't worth it. If you don't have them in your life. What are you waiting for??? Go to Boots asap!

5- Foxcatcher was such a great film. Insanely deep and phycological, it's a must see this year for sure! Enough said.

6- Woopsie, Saturday shopping with the mumma. Got some dreamy peep toe shoes from Whistles and spent my Christmas vouchers in Topshop on some jeans and a jumper. I need to start buying clothes and shoes that are of better quality. The dream is just to have Topshop, Whistles and COS in the wardrobe..... that's the dream.

7- Lush help to create the best baths. I am so excited to try some of the valentines products. The unicorn bubble bar btw looks amazingly fun and cute!!

8- Babycham is so vintage and cool and as someone who is slightly obsessed with the 50's. I can't drink much alcohol because of my Crohns but can managed one of these every now and again if I let it go slightly flat.

Here's to another week!!!

Happy Sunday evening my awesome lovely followers :)

Lips and cheeks are pretty in pink

I've always been a red or orangey-red kinda girl. If you go through my lip products the majority you will see are those shades. Having said this I do have a little group of pink lip products that I have and seem to have waves of when I'm attracted to use them. It might be the fact I'm lusting for the loveliness of sunshine, warmth and the greenery of spring  but all I know is that I'm loving pink on my lips and cheeks.

Products listed from left to right:

Mac Pink Nouveau is a lipstick I like to wear when I really want to get myself to stand out. I like it on a girlie night out with a dark outfit so my lips really stand out.
Natural collection blush in pink cloud is just so pretty and gives you the perfect pink rosy cheeks that really do look natural and like your not wearing any blush at all.
Collection Cream puff in Cotton Candy lasts forever on your lips! Its such a great price and feels lovely and smooth to apply this is just a dream to wear day and night for a subtle pink lip.
Mac Creme cup I have used for ages now and is one that goes everywhere with me just incase. It's an easy one to wear and apply without a mirror. Compliments a wide range of skin tones it's a winner as an everyday shade.
Mac blush Hello kitty was a limited edition ages ago so I can not link it up but there are some on ebay! It looks scary in the pan but with a light hand it can look so fresh and looks especially nice with a bit of a tan.
Stilla lip gloss is not a product I use all the time when I'm in my pink phase, but it's one that I like to take out on the weekend. Not normally a gloss wearer but this isn't too sticky for me. It just gives your lips a plump look with a hint of baby pink. So adorable! Bourjois velvet rouge Pink Pong must be a product you have all heard of! Bloggers and beauty addicts alike are going mad for this range and have to say this is my fav shade. Slightly on the raspberry side it's bright, long lasting, smooth on the lips and easy to apply. What more do you need? I love wearing this, and feel like it really looks great with blonde hair and makes my hair look a slightly brighter blonde.

So are you a pink lover? Or do you have waves of liking it like me? Do you use any of these products?

So much love for Real Techniques

Real techniques are a very popular brand of makeup tools not just with bloggers, but with a wide variety of women. As they are sold in Boots, I regularly see all generations picking the brushes up, especially on a 3 for 2. You could say that I didn't need to buy anymore brushes? But saying that I think it's always nice to have a few options for each type of brush so it keeps the washing of brushes down. That might sound lazy but it's nice to have a few crease brushes when mixing up eye shades, and as you can see have taken over my brush holder.

But why do we love RT so much? They are reliable. I feel that's the biggest factor of their success. They wash well, apply well, don't loose shape and are affordable and easily accessible. It makes them even more lusted over seeing them being used by the creators themselves on YouTube, you know that they're good if they are using them. Might be a bit bold but I feel I could live with just real techniques brushes (but being a beauty addict I like to use a bit of everything haha).

A favourite? Hmmmm the expert face brush swept me off my feet when I first used it. I couldn't believe I hadn't used it until November last year. It's such a dream, and I have to say that I prefer it to the buffing brush! I don't have a brush I don't get on with but the sponge blender I found hard to use at first but it just needs getting used to.

The future of RT-  Have you seen the new Bold Metal Collection? Wowza! I will get myself some of that. The rose gold looks especially luxe. I hope to see many more releases from the two lovely pixiwoo sisters, and hopefully sometime this year they will do another meet and greet as I couldn't get to last years.

Do you use RT? Do you have a favourite brush?

Sunday round up -2-

Another week has shot by and before we know it, it will be February....... Sorry, but it had to be said. I had some great feedback from you lovely lot about my first Sunday round up and how much you liked the style of post, so its here again. Hope you enjoy what my week has consisted of.

From left to right:

1- My first fashion post all on my new boots that Santa was kind enough to get me. I love them both equally and it upsets me that I can't wear them more during the week because of work, but weekends I can't get them off my feet. Go check the post out HERE !

2- Having to cut out dairy from my diet I often have to buy vegan food. It was hard to get used to as it does taste different, especially the sheese (cheese) but its not something I can ignore so its my life now. These chocolate bars are the best vegan chocolate ever. It actually tastes like Nutella, no joke. If you ever see them in a health food or whole food shop defo pick one up and have a taste (or buy HERE) . Do you think I need to buy more? I've only eaten two ;)

3- Antony opened our bathroom cabinet and shouted "where are all my things", to which I said back "somewhere, maybe underneath the sink". I have accidentally over taken the cabinet with skincare, and this isn't all of it..... what can I say I love experimenting with it all. We are saving up to re-do a lot of our house, so can't wait to get a lovely bathroom and have a lot of storage.

4- Completely forgot about how stunning this nail varnish is. I've had it for ages now and is still going strong. After a long day at work I came home and took my dark wintery red off and decided to use this and inject some brightness back into my life. I love how much this can clash yet still look good with all outfits. Check it out HERE.

5- I am so chuffed with my new Cath Kidston pjs, which were another Christmas present. So soft and cosy and perfect for the winter. I treated myself to some vegan ice cream after doing a pilates video on You Tube and oh did I deserve it. Even now 4 days on my butt still aches. I don't know about you but I love adding marshmallows and chocolate drops, so child like :)

6- Does anyone else take their laptop with them when they cook?? I do anyway and wondered if anyone else did. We had yummy meatballs and did my own dairy free garlic bread celebrating the fact the weekend was around the corner.

7- My Friday post all on roll necks and my huge love for them. Ive never understood why some people really dislike them. What is there not to like? They keep you so warm and can be so flattering and really versatile. I would love to get some more as this is my only one.

8- The first proper bit of exercise I've done since August last year..... getting ill and having no energy sucks but happy I made myself go as I really had fun. It's hard to accept being like this as once upon a time I was such a foodie and exercise obsessed girl who went to the gym most evenings and weekends, I find it such a struggle now. Baby steps :) I'll get there.

Hope you've all had a great week! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Let's have ya Monday!

Fashion Friday -2- Roll neck

I hear so many mixed opinions about roll necks. A bit like marmite, either loving them or hating them. I am one of the ones that loves them. Anything that can keep you that little bit warmer are a-ok with me.

I bought this one the end of last year from Topshop (<- link to a similar one) and still can't get enough of it. Goes with so much, jeans, skirts, underneath a sleeveless jumper or over the top of a dress I can't stop wearing it. This Topshop one isn't that thick which I like as layering with it is easy and can be taken places as a jumper to just throw on. I am yet to invest in a big thick one......hmmmm snug.

Do you like roll necks? Are they on your shopping list?

REN Clarifying toner

In a previous post I mentioned that I'm not much of a toner fan, I don't get excited over them and don't look forward to new releases of them and so on. I picked this up when my Liz Earle toner finished, as I was in Marks and Spencer  strolling with the mother I spotted this and bought it as I had seen it around before and love REN products anyway.

I started using this during a breakout and this was the only new product in my routine that had changed at the time and have to say that my break out started to clear up very quickly after using this in the evening, my redness had already reduced in the morning. It might be a coincidence but I would like to believe that it's the product. To me a toner is a toner and that is how I will always see them however if you suffer with any sort of acne/spot issues this could help you! I get hormonal breakouts and will be happy knowing now I have something to help and am prepared by using this which will hopefully help to keep it a lot calmer.

There are a lot of reviews of this product which the majority are raving about it saying its the best toner they have ever used. I will be using this till the end so stayed tuned to see what I thought about it, and you never know.....it could be in a monthly favourites?

Skincare empties

It's a new year and I needed to clear out my stash of empty containers. I tend to go through skincare products quicker than make up as I have a larger variety of make up so takes me a little longer to use up a whole product. Over a few months I have collected some empty containers having used up the product. As you can see I have an all time favourite included.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic- £13.25-  I have actually used up a lot more than just the one bottle of this lovely stuff. I'm not really that into toners if that makes sense. They don't get me excited or anything but are a step that I always take in my morning and evening skincare routine. I normally stock up on cleanse and polish in a set which you normally get this with it, so it makes sense to use it up. It does leave my skin fresh and soft and is especially great in the morning as it really does wake your skin up. Alcohol free your skin doesn't feel drying at all and is actually quite moistured.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water- £4.99- I've done a post all about this which I have linked here but to just round it up. This is affordable, easy to get hold of and does the job. I use this before I cleanse my face and again after I have cleansed in case I have any stubborn mascara that won't budge. Everyone goes on about Bioderma which is hard to get hold of but to me this is just as good.

Rodial Bee Venom moisturiser- £150- No way did I pay that amount, this was a tester size from my Glossybox but have to say the amount you get is pretty generous. I enjoyed this product but would not be prepared to pay the amount. It broke my skin out at first but I persisted and it turned out all ok. My skin felt tighter, bouncier, and very smooth. The price does put me off but I wouldn't say no to one as a present.

Hydraluron- £24.99- I am such a fan of this I can not tell you guys enough how much I love this product. So many people love it, but so many people say it does nothing. It's proven to boost the moisture levels in your skin which will enable you to have plump, hydrated and nourished skin. During this time of year especially I suffer with very dry patches on my face, around my nose is the worst so this really helps. I use this as my second serum just before my moisturiser and can definitely tell a difference if I forget to use it.

La Roche Posay Effeclar Matt-£14.99- Can't quite remember when I was first introduce to this but it works wonders on me. I use this more during the summer as my skin changes from combination dry to combination oily. It really helps to matte the skin, tighten pores and improve luminosity. Like I said this is my number one in the hotter months but I tend to stay away from in in the winter. French skincare is awesome and does the job!

Garnier Ultra Lift- £9.99- On a random trip to Boots with the mother I fancied trying an anti wrinkle cream as my night cream. This was on offer so I thought nothing more than that will do. Yes I am only 26 but I do have some line and wrinkles which have stayed the same the whole time I used this cream. It might work for some but my skin did not fancy this product. If you are looking for a reasonably price night cream and your not fussed bout anti wrinkle, this did feels nice on my skin and smoothed it out.

Are you the same as me and use up skincare more often than make up? Do you use any of these products?

Sunday round up -1-

A new year and a new -Thats-just-me post. I felt my Sunday post needed to be something easy to read, a little lifestyle esc post and all that jazz so have started doing a Sunday round up of my week. I warn you now, as a full time school teacher I don't get to do much/have a life during the week so the majority of my Sunday chats will be food and more food. If you are an Instagram user (please go follow me). Having said this one of my new years resolutions with my boyfriend is to DO more, so hopefully this will change how my week is.

So from left to right:

1- Went to Bluewater shopping centre to shop the sales and was more excited about trying a new flavour Bubbleology, white peach if your interested. And it was so good!!!

2- Had a lovely mexican lunch in Cafe des Amis. A favourite place for Orlando Bloom to eat, yes ladies you heard that right.

3- The new release of the Real Techniques Bold Metal collection. I need me some of that for sure but have heard that there's crazy waiting lists across the country. I guess I will have to wait.

4- This is how we roll. Enough said.

5- My NYE look. Went for a red eye and a my lips but better colour. Went down a treat, lasted all night, nothing moved. Was pretty chuffed if the truth be told (Gavin and Stacey gag anyone?).

6- Another morning where my cat wakes me up early for a cuddle. Not complaining, but he could wait till at least 7am on my holiday!

7- My lovely boyfriend brings me home a soya hot chocolate on his way back from the gym, so my editing afternoon was quite nice and chilled in the end.

8- A Saturday walk around town turns into I need more VEGO bars! As I have had to cut dairy out of my diet due to health reasons I eat Vegan chocolate. This bar is my fav ever. So good, it tastes like Nutella. Luckily the whole food shop had loads there.

Hope you are having a lovely Sunday. And for those of you who are in the same boat as me and are back to work tomorrow, be strong and take on work face first tomorrow!

Thanks for reading,

Fashion Friday -1- Boots

If I'm not wearing Converse then I'm wearing Vans, story of my 2014 life. I had got into a habit of ditching all my other shoes and just wore trainers the whole time. It was time I changed my ways and my old shoes are going and new ones are coming in. Say hello to my new boot friends to see me through 2015 and beyond.

Topshop Mine boots- £80-:
I've needed a new pair of nice high boots for a couple of years (since I bought my ambush boots) and hadn't found any that stepped up to the mark until these. The gold detailing brought my attention and lust for these as it gives them a bit of a luxe look, very designer esc. They may look high but I assure you when you have them on it doesn't feel high because of the slight wedge, and they are so light and comfy. I will be keeping these for occasions and evenings out as I don't do well with any heel that I have to wear for a long time.

Russell and Bromley Berkley boots- £195-:
A nice flat pair of boots for those wondering around town days. I own quite a few pairs of R&B shoes and every pair you can put on for the first time and it feels like you've worn them for years. I wanted these boots as they are just a nice looking flat boot. Being tanned gives them a bit of a Robin Hood feel, which I quite like and love the lace up front. Like I said so comfy, look great with so many outfits, day and nighttime appropriate, last for years, WIN!

Are you a boot wearer? Do you like or have either of these?

Thanks for reading ,
