Yellow brick road

Necklace: Zara
Top: Zara
Leggings: H and M (riding pants)
Shoes: H and M
nail polish: Barry M

Hey beautiful people!

For once in a long time i have enjoyed getting ready for work and doing things like painting my nails. All my stress from work and interviews are gone and in the past so i can get back on track, which i am incredibly happy about. I have missed you guys so much and i have missed sharing my outfits with you and thoughts on different products. Your like my friends who im chatting to about clothes and make up which is so cool!
Onto the outfit then...... i am loving yellow nails so much. However i do suffer with a major problem with this nail polish as it stains your nails yellow. Even if i use a base coat it still manages to stain and makes them look gross and infected which is defo not a good thing. If you have any recommendations for other yellow polishes or a solution i would love to know.
As the sun was out today i decided on my nice and bright zara necklace to go alongside my nice bright nails. Everything else about my outfit is easy and simple. A nice baggy pastel coloured top as its hot, leggings because they are comfortable and also my flatforms from H and M as they boost me up so im actually taller than some of my students, haha.

Thank you again for you all for sticking around for me. I'll try not to let it happen again.
Love to you all and hope you like my outfit :)

Essie - Mint Candy Apple

This polish is and has been spoken about a lot by other bloggers and You tubers and i admit i am a bit late jumping on the band wagon and have only just purchased it. Mint is my favorite colour for a nail polish, i have quite a large collection of them in slightly different shades. However when i saw the new Essie counter up at my local Boots (Drugstore) I had to grab a new mint coloured polish, and i am so happy i did.

I have a few polishes by Essie but from a while ago and the brush is really thin on them and i often was prone to streaks. The new brush is lovely, nice and thick and makes applying nail varnish so easy and streak free. I know packaging shouldn't really matter but i have always thought that Essie's bottles are really cute and nice enough to look at that you could put them on display in your room. I applied this polish on Saturday and took these pictures last night (Wednesday). The staying power is incredible on this polish and could have gone longer i think. It had started to slightly chip but the smallest amount that it can go unseen. I use the caviar top coat by Nails inc which i use every time i paint my nails. For some reason this Essie polish loved my top coat and stayed looking cute and had that just polished look. I can honestly say that 'Mint Candy Apple' has lasted the longest on my nails out of all the Essie polishes that i have tried! I had to write and speak to you guys about this as it really has amazed me, and i am going to be purchasing a few more Essie polishes if they will all have the same staying power as i am hoping its something to do with the new formulation that they have brought out along with the new brush!

Have you tried Essie 'Mint Candy Apple'? What do you think? Did it last this well on you? Did it last for longer than me? Could you recommend any other Essie colours to me that are your favorites?

Thanks for reading guys! Always means a lot :)

Disco Pants and Pineapple hair

Necklace: Zara
Top: Topshop
Disco Pants: American Apparel
Shoes: Primark
Bag: Zara

Firstly, this outfit was worn a few days ago before it got crazy hot so no i did not brave the Disco pant is 25 degree heat. I wore this outfit the other day for non uniform at work/school when the weather was bearable. I find disco pants just go with everything so they are great to style and also u find them so comfortable to the point where sometimes it doesn't even feel like your wearing anything :/ how strange ey? The necklace and bag are new additions to my life and I'm so happy with them. The necklace is just gorgeous and has such pretty summer colours in it. And the bag is just a must have and I'm so glad i finally braved spending the money on it. The hair was shoved up as i had a few practical classes that day so there was no point in doing anything nice to it :p

This weekend has been pretty crazy which is why i arranged this outfit the other day in preparation for this weekends post. It was my sisters 18th birthday so there has been a lot going on and we have been so busy going places, BBQ and all that jazz which has been great fun. Its been strange for me as she is my little sister and for her to turn 18 makes me feel old and insane that she's an adult already! Those of you in a similar situation will understand where i'm coming from.

As i work at a school i have a whole week off next week and i cant wait! Im planning quite a few posts so keep an eye out for that, and also my sister is trying to get hold of London graduate fashion ticket's for us both to go and attend which i really hope she gets! Have any of you lovely followers ever been?

I hope everyone is and has been enjoying the sun, and keep safe with lotion at the same time. I use factor 50 because of my tattoos and also because i am so pale!! However i do seem to have a faint tan line! WOoHOo!

Peace out my lovelies :) xoxo

My Top 5 Shirts

To start with I'm sorry its taken me so long to actually do this post or even post at all but I've had a crazy week so far and its only Wednesday! I will update you at the weekend.....
But onto the shirts. I am a huge shirt fan and wear them a lot. I have patterned ones, long sleeves, short sleeves, bright, neutral. You get the idea, i just love shirts. So here are my 5 favorite shirts which are in no particular order.

1. Zara

The print of this shirt is just gorgeous, and so colourful and pretty. Its made out of quite a sheer material which is really nice and comfortable to wear on hot days tucked into some high waisted shorts or something. I've worn this out in the evening a few times with some black jeans which also looked great.  The last time i checked this shirt is still available on the website and is a great piece to have in your wardrobe to wear open over the top of another top, during the day relaxed outfit or evening on a night out.

2. Topshop concession 'Oh My Love'

This shirt was very much an impulse buy as everything i had initially tried on i didn't like on, so in desperation i did another round of my local Topshop and came across something very horsey. Its a lovely salmon colour and from a distance the horses actually look like polka dots. I've worn this in so many different ways including with a bow tie, which some people might cringe at but personally i love that look. I'm not sure if you can pick this shirt up as i purchased it when it was reduced but certainly try ebay for it or something similar.

3. Zara

Since i purchased this i have seen so many people wearing it! This is a relatively new purchase but none the less it has over taken some of my golden oldies and stormed straight up to my Top 5. the shirt itself is very soft and silky to the touch and feels so lovely and luxurious to wear. All over are small images of a cheetah which i have only recently realised.
I was first drawn by the simply two studs on the collar which actually has such an impact when looking at the shirt even though the studs are small and there are only two. This shirt looks lovely with gold accessories.

4. Topshop

I have had this shirt for such a long time and will be there in my wardrobe for a while yet. This is my trusty stead and when I'm totally unsure on what to wear, this is something i instantly grab. It is very sheer so i wear a vest top underneath. The buttons are a gold effect but it is wearing off to a funny bronze colour. There is nothing much else to say about this shirt other than its a safe bet. Always looks nice, can be put with anything, can be worn to anything and is a great quality shirt.

5.  BNTML/Topshop

This Topshop shirt was hidden away at a discounted clothing stall at Britain and Irelands Next Top Model Live and the first thing that caught my eye was the obvious print on the shirt, As a cat lover it was an instant win. The sleeves i find are quite puffy and wide but this makes it nice and comfortable to wear, This is a great shirt to really make an outfit interesting and quirky. I have seen a couple of these on ebay so check there if you have fallen in love with it too!

This post has been kept brief as i could of blabbed on for ages about silly things, i mean there is only so much you can say about a shirt. I really like seeing posts like this as I'm nosey and like to see peoples favorite things belongings.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Top 5 shirts. If you can think of any other Top 5 posts i could do i would love to know so please comment below.

Hope you have all had a lovely week so far, and enjoy the sunshine :)

Saturday night: bun night

Dress: Love (Topshop concession)
Belt: Primark
Tights: Primark
Faltforms: H&M
Ring: Fashionology
Nails: Essie

I rarely go out clubbing and things like that but when i do i normally take so long doing my make up and hair. that i only have five seconds to get changed and normally just grab the first dress i see.  This dress has been in my wardrobe for years now and its so versatile and can be worn for so many different occasions.  I love how the neck line hangs and the wrap style makes it quite flattering. Because it quite a dull colour being navy i chose a bright belt to help lift it up which was originally on a dress i got from Primark. Sorry i didn't include a picture of my shoes, i took the picture prior to cleaning them from the last time i wore them and realised this morning that the picture wasn't that good. We all know what black flatforms look like right?

So its the day after my night out and I'm in bed, just had pancakes made by my lovely mum. My plan for today is blog and check out all the latest posts on my feed, watch some YouTube videos and then have a bath :) Basically a massive chill out day. Im also going to really enjoy all the food i eat today as from tomorrow I'm starting a clean and lean diet, not strictly but i just feel that my diet is awful and i need to sort out my eating habits before it catches up with me. So don't worry I'm still going to be eating lots but just the good for you stuff :)

Recently I have been thinking about blogging a lot, and i have some sort of addiction to it at the moment. I understand that the amount of followers i have is not a lot to some people but just knowing that those people that follow me want to see what i post and read what i write makes me so happy, and drives me to post more and to try and get more people to enjoy what i post so i can gain a wide network of fellow blogging lovers. And if you haven't already i would totally appreciate it if you vote for me by clicking the Cosmo blog award link top right of my blog :)

Upcoming posts: NARS primer review, Top 5 shirts, OOTD's, ESSIE polishes.

Thanks for listening to me be babble along. Have a lovely relaxing Sunday everyone!

Animal Zara shirt OOTD

Shirt: Zara
Jeans: (old) Topshop
Boots: Topshop Allegras
Purse: Monki
Watch: Michael Kors
Eyelashes: Baby lashes from Sally's
Mac Eyeshadow: All that glitters and Rice paper
Lips: Collection Creme puff in Cotton Candy

So today was my sisters fashion exhibition at college and i cant begin to explain how proud i am of her (see my Instagram and Twitter for uploads) and i fancied dressing up for the occasion.
I went for something easy and an outfit that is quite minimal looking. I was so excited to finally wear this shirt as its been hanging in my wardrobe begging me to release it. This shirt was the chosen one today purely because of the gold studding on the collar as it looks nice nice along side my watch (which i wear everyday). I never really wear heels during the day so dug out my trusty Allegras which do such a good job of allowing me to feel supermodel tall. All i needed was my phone so i just popped it in my purse and carried that instead of a bag.
On the beauty side of things I'm really into wearing eyelashes at the moment but i seem to have trouble with the regular kind found in boots. I find that after around an hour they unstick always in the inner part of my eye and never stick properly. So while i was in Sally's hair and beauty suppliers the other day i saw that they did baby eyelashes. Which is quite strange and i hope no one puts them on their babies but they really look nice on adults! On my eye they act more as a half set and bulk up the outer part of my eye which i really like the look of. They were around £3 which is a bargain compaired to the prices in boots!

So its Friday! Whatever you are doing have a fab one, and look forward to my Top 5 Shirts post which will be up soon. Mwah love ya!

My Top 5 Bags

Recently i have purchased a few different bags, which made me think about my bag collection. I in fact have quite a few bags... 20 to be exact which i do think is a little crazy but i do have my favs of course. These five are the bags i absolutely love and use all the time, however two of the bags are recent purchases. But i know i will use them all the time and i am totally in love with them. So in no particular order...

1. Zara

This bag has been so popular in the blogging/Youtube world and when you have one, you know why. Its such a nice colour to use in the warmer months and the colder ones and the size is just perfect for someone who likes to take one of everything with them like myself. I wasn't too keen on the rose gold hardware at first as i only own gold and silver accessories but i am no longer fazed by this and wear it anyway. The material is not leather but feels soft and also is ok to wipe if it gets a little dirty. As this is a recent purchase and have only used it a few times, i already know i will use this a lot for work and maybe if I'm busy at the weekend and need to carry around a lot.

2. Mulberry

This is my baby and stays in its dust bag whenever its not being used. This is a more of an evening bag for me, that i take to dinner or something like that which is why its never in my OOTDs. (on that note i should do an evening outfit soon) I love this bag because it literally goes with anything, any outfit any shoes and its a winner. I really like the gold hardware on this bag and when i go out for dinner i always wear gold but i would still wear silver with this bag anyway. Its got one small zipped pocked on the inside with is great for your lipstick or something and then you have the main section of the bag.  I've had this bag for nearly two years now and because i have looked after it well its pretty much in maculate condition. I would definitely recommend investing in a Mulberry, they are a life investment for sure.

3.Longchamp

This was purchased around three years ago and is still going strong. I mostly use this for work as its really big and so hard wearing and goes with anything i wear so i don't have to worry early in the morning. It literally is just one big compartment so its like my Mary Poppins bag in which i just chuck everything in. Its a dark navy colour which does look black in different lights. I just love the tan detail on this bag and think it looks quite smart when styled right, but can also look casual. I have been thinking about getting a smaller one in a bright colour for summer...hmmmmm. Again just like the Zara(1) bag it is so easy to wash and can just wipe it down.

4.Zara

This bag is another recent purchased but oh my god do i love it so. It's so simple, versatile, vintage looking and smart all at the same time. This is black fake leather with a silver zip that runs along the top so you have two ways of entering the main compartment. You can use the long strap or tuck it in and use the bag as a clutch which is my preferred way to wear it. This is quite large actually and because i ordered it from the website i really didn't think it was going to be the size it was. Since i bought this i have used it when I have gone shopping as just a casual bag but next time i go out on the town I'm thinking this could be great!

5.Charity shop find

I found this in a charity shop years and years ago for a ridiculously cheap price and its real leather! I snapped up this bad boy in a blink and went home so excited with my find. My dad told me when i got home that its a shooting bag used for empty shells for when people go out shooting. Since i bought this i have seen so many different bags that look exactly the same but for around £30-£40. Its aged beautifully and has so much character.
Whenever i wear it i always have people ask me where its from and when i tell them they
seem so shocked. Just shows you if you have a rummage you can really find a gem!

So thats my Top 5 bags, do you have any of these bags? Are they in your Top 5? I would love to know. And I'm thinking of doing a few more Top 5 blog posts....what Top 5 would you like to see?
